Linked Data Summary
The records in the linkage system are derived from morbidity, mortality, midwives, birth, cancer, mental health, and electoral roll records. There can be more than one morbidity record or midwives' record for an individual, but only one cancer record or mental health record per person. Conversely, a single birth will create related records for the mother, father and child, and similarly for the bride and groom associated with a marriage record.
Some of these records will not be linked. This means there may only be one record in any given chain.
Geocoding is performed on the electoral, midwives, emergency, hospital, and death records. Over six million records belonging to over one million individuals have been geocoded.
